Medieval Week 2025 Saga Tour

Tour Cost and registration:

Tour cost, including seven nights at the hotel with breakfast; Welcome Reception; day at Stavgard; evening Tournament performance; catered picnic at Paviken; visit to Lummelunda Grotto and Farewell Feast, and all bus excursions, is 42,255 SEK (Use an online currency converter to estimate your cost from your home currency) per person double occupancy, and 47,495 SEK single occupancy. This includes VAT (value added tax) of 25%.

We have 40 spaces available. We understand interest is high, and to make the selection process as fair as possible enrollment will be on a first come, first serve basis. We are accepting deposits per person via credit card of 5,000 SEK (approximately US $500). A secondary payment of 5,000 SEK will be due January 2025. Final payment will be due June 1, 2025, sixty days before the commencement of the Saga Tour.

If more than 40 deposits are received, an Alternates List will be created, in which you may place your name should a registered guest need to withdraw.

Booking

Once deposit is paid you will be allocated a place/places on the tour unless the total amount of registrations exceeds 40 people. In that case a lottery will determine if you have a place, and should you be unlucky the full deposit will be refunded.

We accept no responsibility for incorrect email or inability to deliver email. If your confirmation does not arrive on time or at all, then you must ask us to resend the email confirmation.

Insurance

There is no travel insurance cover included in the price of the package.

We take no responsibility for any injuries or loss to you incurred whilst you are taking part in the tour. We strongly recommend that you take out comprehensive insurance cover for cancellation, medical expenses, personal accident, personal baggage, money and public liability before you travel. We accept no responsibility for the theft, loss or damage to personal belongings from at any time during the duration of your tour.

Cancellation

Cancellation of your booking must be in writing or by email to niclas@creativegotland.com.  When written notification has been received by Creative Gotland a fee of SEK 500 will be levied to cover administration costs. (This fee is not applicable to deposits refunded due to not getting a space on the tour).

If you choose to cancel within 90 days before the start of the tour, no refunds will be granted.
