CULINARY EXCURSION – TASTE OF GOTLAND & A WALK THROUGH VISBY

A half-day that blends island flavours with medieval atmosphere — relaxed, local, and beautifully paced.

Gotland has a way of making things taste brighter. The air is salty, the landscape is open, and the island’s food culture feels grounded in real places — farms, small producers, and traditions that still live on. On this excursion, we start outside the city with a tasting session at Stafva Gård, where you get to sample local flavours and browse the farm shop for delicacies and gifts to bring home.

Then we return to Visby and slow the tempo down. On foot, we step into the UNESCO-listed old town and follow cobblestone lanes, rose-covered ruins, and medieval streets where Gotland’s trading history is never far away. This is not a rushed “checklist walk” — it’s about atmosphere, stories, and the small details that make Visby feel like a living medieval city.

Before heading back, we finish the most Swedish way possible: a traditional fika — coffee and something sweet, shared in good company.

Expect: A gentle 4-hour experience combining local tastings + Visby’s medieval heart, with time for questions, photos, and that unhurried island feeling.
